Hops and Honey Ham

£5.00

We came up with this recipe after being approached by the lovely Dorothy from A Bushel of Hops to see if we fancy trying some of their hops in our cures. always up for trying something new we of course said yes! You can read about what Dorothy and Oor Bees both do here

https://www.abushelofhops.co.uk/the-grower/

https://www.beelistener.co.uk/bee-farming/oor-bees-a-bee-farmers-blog-by-phil-collett/

It took a few adjustments to the recipe for us to be happy to add it to our range but now its a firm favourite at all of our farmers markets.

We use our free range pork leg, local wildflower honey and foraged meadowsweet flowers to help balance out that hoppy flavour giving you a wonderful variety of taste. Savoury, sweet, salty and smokey with a hint of bitterness from the hops.
